woah it seems like roliana had a run from like 2008 (at least) until 2019, rip. they died right before the small revival these sites experienced talk about unlucky... i genuinely wish i was a bigger gaia player, i made my initial account so long ago and then just never played properly ;_; looking back on it gaiaonline was/is the shit in this ecosystem

ages 11-18 were very rough for me friendships wise and i experienced the brunt of negative behavior from peers back then. during my teenage years i straight up looked like a weird boy and i think most of me being "bullied" or feeling lesser was in mixed groups. there was a clear pecking order in each group with the boys bullying girls, girls accepting it and kiki-ing about it, and then the ugly/weird ones in the group (me lmao) would not even get their existence acknowledged. then when the boys are outside of the group suddenly cabbage is a great friend to talk to. you could say i lost two of my best friends due to me kind of falling behind in being interesting to boys, like i was repulsive to be around. i feel like most girls end up growing out of that phase, but this type of pickmeism can be deeply ingrained into women and in their adulthood they'll ostracize weird women without men present too. happened to me at my student job (imagine working in a small town DM while not being a makeup wearer and also being awkward as hell). thing is though, i quickly cut those girls out of my life at like age 14 and preferred being friendless over feeling like the token retard (but this had negative consequences too LMAO). in high school i hung out with the party/stoner girls and it was surprisingly okay because they just wanted to have a good time. and in university i was lucky to have been blessed with an amazing and based group of women. i honestly think it's getting worse with younger generations??? i was born in 97, and my sister was born in 2001 and had you asked her this question... she could write novels about it. being a victim of intense intrasexual competitiveness is no joke
