Ranking the top players in my server, part 2

...And why I still think some players are bots

Hello to anyone that will listen, I am back with my evil rankings of whatever the top players have equipped because this is my kind of therapeutic activity... Initially, I wanted to rank players in a different server, but my server had a merge and now we finally have more whales and active players. I am no longer rank 16, I am like 36th now 😨. Thankfully, rankings mean absolutely nothing in this game.

My criteria are based on:

how much do these players actually utilize the tools the game provides them with
do they use dyes
do they use custom postures
do they mix and match items from different sets
do they use makeup
their effort put in their char customization
are they able to present a good and cohesive theme
my subjective opinion

1. players in my server Player number one! A whale worthy of their title. She's got really pretty styling going on, and she's showing off how everything is dyed with the full color wheel dyes. I like when whales show off... Not only that, she has a decom background equipped, which you can only get if you spend a considerable amount on a 6 star gacha. Her character is really pretty and she's got a custom makeup look too! If I had to critique something, it would be that the golds in this background don't really fit with her outfit. I can't take points off for that however, because this bg is equivalent to the bg you have equipped in your wardrobe, which means that she could've been making an outfit that completely fits that background. I'm giving her a 9.5/10

2. players in my server This is just the default and undyed 5 star set from a gacha we had 2 weeks ago. It's not even the current gacha. That's like extra lazy for a whale. AND the avatar looks like a default avatar. She only gets half a point for matching the background with the outfit 😡, this player spent like... 10k euros on this game. bot.5/10

3. players in my server Seems like this player was going for an elf theme, maybe even a cosplay of some character but I might be tweaking because a red haired elf with green/purple clothes is like, the standard. Even though those shades of purple are not my thing I think the theme is cute. The character is original too. I'm taking points off for not having a custom posture though, my standards have raised... 7.5/10

4. players in my server The best one so far. Personally I suck at using bright colors, but every time someone else does it I think it actually looks appealing. Their character looks otherworldly which carries the outfit well. That background is very pretty and fitting, but I forgot if it was a decom one, not that it matters. Either way 10/10

5. players in my server For some reason, I'm sure this outfit is also a cosplay. I think it's because that head piece does not fit the rest of the outfit AT ALL in texture and vibe so it must be there to resemble some other character. The girl character looks very cartoony which also supports my theory. I like the customized eyepatch/bleeding eye. 8/10

6. players in my server Outfit cohesion wise I think this outfit is pretty bad. Is it just me? The colors don't seem to work well together. The avatar is the basic avatar. The floating item (the white flowers) aren't dyed so they look out of place while making it look extra busy with all the particle effects. The background is a really nice decom bg and if we pretend this is a space fairy due to the metallic dress it could be thematically connected too. 6.5/10

7. players in my server So this is the default CCS collab set, undyed and all. However, I don't want to be too cruel to someone wearing a collab set that's true to the character because I have a hunch this person just likes CCS and wants to show off the set because of it. I'm getting soft... 6/10

8. players in my server Ok I'm biased towards this one, because this player makes really creative fits on a daily basis and each time I look at her fashion diary she has something new going on. She makes the most of her wardrobe at any opportunity and she even has an LM youtube channel. She's great at combining colours but my favourite thing about her is that each outfit will get a short story attached to it in her videos which is something I also do ~~in my head~~. 9.5/10 only because this fit is a bit too simple hehehe

9. players in my server Last time I ranked outfits, this player was the 4th one and I gave her a lot of praise. She seems to have gone inactive and honestly, she quit with a worse outfit than the one she had in my last entry. I think this background is what's taking away from it, because it washes colours out sooooo badly. The bunny theme is great though, her vision is always clear! 8.5/10

10. players in my server I don't know what to say about this character design... It's quite peculiar and not my thing. The feet are so tiny. I don't really like the outfit either, but at least it's something original. It also kind of looks like a man into bimbofication made the outfit, the colors are too basic and the purple/pink blush is too strong.... 4/10

11. players in my server A lot of the items in this outfit come from the same set, and they're in their default dyes too which is an automatic minus. It's a very bland outfit overall. However, I sense some storytelling here... She looks like a vampire shielding herself from the sun which is directly shining on her in this background. That's kind of cute 6/10

12. players in my server The outfit this character is wearing is just a set, not dyed. A very early 6 star gacha set too, so I guess the player must be really attached to it. I say this because compared to other 6 star ancient chinese sets, this one is very lacking nowadays in quality. She's getting points for a custom character and pretty makeup, along with a nice scene to tie it all up. 4/10

13. players in my server There's a little space theme going on, the outfit is simple but not bad. Minus points for an almost basic avatar, the only thing that was changed is slightly thicker legs. 5/10

14. players in my server Another similar theme! I wonder if these two are friends... This character is almost unchanged too, I think it's lacking the skin texture even. At least the outfit's colours pop more than the last one, but it's still a simple outfit. 5.5/10

15. players in my server This is the decom background in the current 6 star gacha. It's actually a really nice background for how simple it is and this cute and simple outfit matches it. The avatar looks a bit customized face wise and I love how they matched the bouquet colors to the background. 5.5/10

Honestly... I was more optimistic when starting out but soon enough I realized it's not much better than the last time. I should really do the singapore server, in fact I'll go take the screenshots right now so I don't forget. I fear global lacks crazy stylists the likes of which other regions in the game have, well numbers wise. Apparently the Korean server opened in like, September, and I follow a bunch of Korean LM instagram accounts, with their limited wardrobes these players are creating wonders! Meanwhile our whales slap a default dyed set and call it a day wtf 😞 I do see a lot of good styling on the russian side of LM, and they tend to be medium spenders like me. Maybe I should do rankings between tiers 30-100, that's surely where the real talent is hiding...
