i had no idea what I was doing! i was just ecstatic to finally have my own website and super proud of making the background image move so it looks like the clouds are passing by, i didn't manage to get it to loop... obligatory marquee, i can't believe they're deprecated. nothing about this site design really says "me" however...i distinctively remember wanting something that felt more somber with this one. funny, i said we don't sort cabbage around here, but now that's all i do! how things changei distinctively remember NOT wanting something somber this time around. i like the mix of images and text i did here... and i like how despite the illustrations being colorful, all of the colors matched well.and my previous layout! i was very proud of it, still am, i had it for the longest amount of time. it's very minimalistic, but it combines my favourite color combo. i really liked those anime and book review images. tsuruta kenji's art is a theme on my site, i just love how he keeps drawing a single character over and over and she's like, literally me! oh and the header image i scanned from yamada akihiro's artbook. i can't believe it i got it at a tiny anime con in croatia for like 8 euros, and the artbook itself was in mint condition. what a find!
