Upcoming Major Update

Oh shit, someone leaked the new update 6 star on xiaohongshu and they just released the preview for the WHOLE UPDATE EARLY because of it. This is going to be a very major update, so I'll go over everything I'm interested in. I'm so hyped!

First of all, the gacha. My prediction was wrong, it won't be a chinese set. The main theme is phoenix, but the outfit itself reminds me more of a harpy. At first glance, I actually don't really like it much. But then you start nooticing. The wings/arms are actually gloves, and they have two forms. The talons also have a shoe form (that's really pretty!). The skirt has three forms, one of them is short. The top apparently has two forms but I didn't really notice the difference between them. The cape has two forms... These items are making me absolutely obsessed with the set... I don't like the hair much at all, but 6* hairs are almost never my style. Since they just had to go with an anime hair, why couldn't they have made some badass straight spiky anime hair instead of this... But for a harpy/phoenix theme, they could've went so much more wild than this! I will proooobably be pulling, but I'll think about it still.

Next, the 5 star. I am torn on it. I'm in love with the vibe it's so me, but the dress has plastic sequin details that make it look so cheap. The veil and the cage are cool, but the set doesn't speak to me as much as it should. The 4 star is really cute! But it's lolita and I'm not very into LM lolita. I do like the details though. However the ssr ally card... I can already see it as my next profile background!!! It's really good... I don't really have an allegiance to a single male ally in LM, their card being good is my only requirement.

And then there's the decom dress... If I decide to pull, I'll be happy to get the dress. If I decide on skipping, I won't feel heartbroken that I didn't get it. That's how I feel about it. I'm not a huge fan of floofy gowns but I like the waist detail and the roses, and since it doesn't look like it's full of cheap sequins or sparkles it already looks so much more versatile. One of the free events has normie jeans!!! Finally!! You have no idea how much this game lacks normie tops and pants. Dresses wise we're doing great, but tops and pants wise we're in the trenches. I always welcome more totally normie shit that doesn't have weirdly unnecessary details on it. The top is an absolute cropped atrocity but we can't always win. And lastly, this gacha is going to rerun. When it first ran I very decisively chose not to roll on it and at the time I didn't regret it. I don't like cyberpunk stuff, and the gypsy themed second dress didn't really pull me in, besides the nose ring. But then as I looked through peoples wardrobes I noticed BOTH of these hairs are one of the best hairs in the game. The straight one especially. They both frame the face in an extremely flattering way, I've been practically on my knees waiting for this to come back. Since it's just making its rerun on sg/my now, it means global will see it in a couple of months. Which gives me some time to save. I seriously hope I'll get the straight hair at least ;-;. The cyberpunk suit also grew on me overtime, I've seen it recolored in such cool ways it actually looks neat to me now.

But this is not all!! They're also introducing new wardrobe sorting that will include custom groups, sorting by rarity etc... Thank fucking god!!! I have 4k+ items in my wardrobe, and it was starting to get annoying. And also... A nail system!!!! I'm so happy... So sick of the default pink cutesy nails!!!! Another little qol they're adding is being able to zoom out more when making outfits, I hope it will apply to the part when you're dyeing shoes because on PC you literally can't zoom into feet properly. AND, AND. They're revamping fashion diary and making it recommend more recent outfits which fucking finally!!! Fashion Diary is one of the coolest sections in the game because you can see everyone's outfits (if they make them public) and equip them too! Yet for the longest time the algorithm for the "recommended" section would only recommend outfits that were made in like the first few months of the game's existence. I hope this revitalizes Fashion Diary because I'd love to browse it more. Even if I decide not to pull this update will come with so many neat things I won't feel bored lmao.
